Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly in the race to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar as reports from Italy share the latest transfer news out of N17.

The Lowdown: Spurs eye more moves?

Having completed the signings of Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence, Spurs managing director Fabio Paratici is apparently casting his eye on more possible additions at the Premier League club.

The Lilywhites may yet sign another right-wing-back despite the addition of Spence, while links have also emerged to Italian talents Nicolo Barella and Nicolo Zaniolo.

While the focus right now is reportedly on player sales, the north Londoners could indeed make more moves regarding incomings before the summer transfer window ends.

The Latest: Paratici in Skriniar race...

According to a report by Il Messaggero, via Sport Witness, Spurs have joined the race for Inter defender Skriniar with Ligue 1 giants Paris-Saint Germain also eyeing a move for the Slovakian.

The Nerazzurri apparently value their colossal centre-back at around €65m (£55m) amid interest from Tottenham chief Paratici.

The Verdict: Push forward?

Reports have claimed that Spurs could yet target another defender despite Lenglet's arrival, and we believe that Skriniar may well be a brilliant option.

He has been linked with the club in the past, with Tottenham legend Graham Roberts even endorsing a move previously, branding the Slovakian an 'absolute banker of a signing'.

Meanwhile, some Italian journalists have made no secret of the 27-year-old's quality, with Carlo Garganese calling Skriniar a 'monster' of a defender.

At £55m, Spurs could secure a more than capable central defensive star to marshal their back three alongside Lenglet and Cristian Romero.
