Tottenham: Sport Italia TV reporter backs move for Destiny Udogie -Tottenham Hotspur Transfer Rumours

Sport Italia TV reporter Gianluigi Longari has backed reports of Tottenham Hotspur advances for Udinese starlet Destiny Udogie as he shares his own update.

The Lowdown: Spurs closing in?

Reports out of Spurs in the last few days have suggested that the Lilywhites’ sporting director Fabio Paratici is getting ever closer to the signing of the 19-year-old.

Fabrizio Romano claimed over the weekend that the player himself has already agreed personal terms, and a move for him could be completed by the north Londoners imminently.

The Premier League side have already sealed deals for Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence this summer as =Antonio Conte receives the full backing from the powerbrokers in N17.

The Latest: Longari shares Udogie update…

Taking to social media, Longari has now made a promising claim involving Udogie as Spurs potentially close in on their seventh signing of the summer.

Backing recent reports, the Italian transfer journalist has also stated that Conte’s side are ‘close’ to signing the 19-year-old, with Spurs – and by extension Paratici – ‘pushing’ to get it done.

He explained (via Twitter): “#THFC pushing on #Udogie deal with #Udinese. #Spurs close to an agreement. They will leave the player on loan this season.”

The Verdict: Make the move?

Udogie comes as a player with much promise, especially going by the verdict of Football Talent Scout’s Jacek Kulig.

Udogie has also attracted interest from English champions Manchester City, as explained by Gianluca Di Marzio, potentially highlighting the teenager’s huge ceiling.

With Spurs looking likely to win the race as things stand, supporters could perhaps see a future star arrive at N17 in the near future.
