Fabio Paratici wants to bring Juventus' Dejan Kulusevski to Tottenham Hotspur, but Antonio Conte is less keen, according to Il Bianconero.

The lowdown

Juventus paid £31.5m to sign the Swedish winger in January 2020. He started 19 Serie A matches last season under Andrea Pirlo but Max Allegri has selected him from the off just four times so far this term (via WhoScored).

The 22-year-old was called up for last summer's European Championship and provided two assists in a 3-2 win over Poland which secured top spot for Sweden in Group E.

The latest

The report from Il Bianconero stated that Juventus have slapped a €35m (£29.4m) price tag on Kulusevski, who has apparently attracted 'several admirers' in the Premier League, among them Spurs and their arch-rivals Arsenal.

Paratici, who 'brought Kulusevski to Juve', wants to negotiate another deal for the winger, but Conte is 'less enthusiastic'.

In fact, if the manager were to sign a player from his former club Juventus, he would prefer it to be midfielder Weston McKennie.

The verdict

Kulusevski was excellent for Parma prior to his move to Turin, recording 19 direct goal contributions (10 goals, nine assists) in 39 games.

It has not really worked out for him at Juve, but he has still demonstrated his talent on the international stage. He was one of the top creators at Euro 2020 and compatriot Zlatan Ibrahimovic has even selected him as his 'heir'.

If Paratici can win Conte over, then the 'lethal' Kulusevski could prove to be a really good signing for Spurs.

In other news, this Real Madrid ace is set to be offered to Tottenham.
