Transfer Tavern take
Given this latest update on Levy’s growing confidence surrounding an agreement, it’s safe to say supporters and Mourinho can get excited at the prospect of securing Son.
He will apparently be offered a £200,000-per-week new deal, akin to wages fellow superstars like Gareth Bale, Harry Kane and Tanguy Ndombele currently earn at the club.
Son’s contribution in recent seasons has arguably earned him that illustrious pay day, and after this ESPN update, his new deal appears to be nearing.
