Speaking to talkSPORT, ex-Tottenham striker Darren Bent has strongly hinted that he would snap up Lilywhites attacking midfielder Dele Alli for arch north London rivals Arsenal – going on to claim there would be no hesitation from his part over doing a deal.
Alli, who could be on the way out of Spurs according to reports, with an update courtesy of RMC claiming that Ligue 1 giants Paris-Saint Germain are ready to make a move, may well be unsettled at Tottenham.
Would Arsenal and Spurs realistically do a deal over Alli?
Yes, get it done Levy
The Englishman, amassing 37 international caps in total since bursting on to the scene nearly half a decade ago, could be sold off to recuperate funds splurged on the mega swoop for Real Madrid duo Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon.
Indeed, the star pairing could allegedly cost Daniel Levy and co a total £42.5 million (BBC and Evening Standard) – leaving Alli as a potential asset who could be offloaded in an effort to mitigate those losses.
Now, with numerous reports flying around over his future in the capital, ex-Spur Bent has waxed lyrical over the player to talkSPORT and has claimed he would ‘100%‘ sign Alli for Tottenham’s rivals across the city.
Ex-Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino lauded the attacking ace as ‘tremendous‘ during his long tenure at Spurs, and it appears that if he is set for the exit door, then there could be admirers aplenty.
