Tottenham Hotspur: Fans react to Barcelona’s interest in Juan Foyth

Barcelona are keen to make a move for Tottenham defender Juan Foyth in the summer, according to The Mirror via @thespursweb.
Once considered a prodigy under former boss Mauricio Pochettino, the centre-back has struggled for game time with the Argentinian’s replacement Jose Mourinho, making just eight appearances for the Portuguese head coach in all competitions so far.
Spurs are aware Foyth wants to play regular football next season and he has been offered to a number of high-profile clubs.
Ever since the 22-year-old arrived in North London from Club Estudiantes de La Plata for £8m back in 2017, he has played 32 games in total for the Lilywhites, and scored his first goal for the club in a match against Crystal Palace in 2018.
Who has been Tottenham Hotspur's biggest flop?
Juan Foyth
Roberto Soldado
The Spaniards are preparing to dump Samuel Umtiti and Jean-Clair Todibo, and the Argentine is seen as a cheaper alternative. Indeed, he is currently valued at just £12.15m via Transfermarkt and it appears Daniel Levy is ready to cash in.
Understandably, lots of Spurs fans reacted to Barca’s interest in Foyth on social media, with one supporter cheekily tweeting “trade him for Messi,” and another pleading with the board to “let him go.”

Barca want a player who doesn’t even make our bench when we have a fully fit squad (what even is a fully fit squad?!) unlikely… next.

This will bite Spurs in the future, like Man Utd got bit years back with their defender going to Barca.
