Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth is a transfer target for fellow Premier League club Fulham, that is according to a report from sportslens.
This news comes after journalist David Ornstein confirmed that Sassuolo centre-back Marlon had failed a medical ahead of a proposed move to Craven Cottage, leading to Scott Parker turning his attention elsewhere.
It is thought that the ex-Spurs central midfielder is keen on the Argentinian international, who appears to be out of favour with manager Jose Mourinho.
Indeed, he has already been linked with a transfer to another newly promoted club in Leeds United this summer (The Sun) and he has failed to make a single appearance for the north London outfit in any competition so far in the 2020/21 campaign.
Foyth joined Spurs for £11.7m back in 2017 from Estudiantes and was highly rated by previous manager Mauricio Pochettino, who labelled him “fantastic” after an impressive Champions League display against Borussia Dortmund in early 2019.
However, given his absence so far this season and with Tottenham seemingly stepping up their efforts to sign Milan Skriniar from Internazionale, which could push Foyth even further down the pecking order, a move away could be the best thing for all parties.
Spurs fans, is it time to let Juan Foyth leave? Let us know in the comments below…
