Sharing an update live on air (via Football Daily), Sky Sports and reporter Dharmesh Sheth have dropped a promising 'behind-the-scenes' transfer update out of Tottenham Hotspur.

It is believed that Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici and chairman Daniel Levy have been tasked with targeting a new right-wing back, midfielder and forward this month (The Evening Standard).

Wolves star is reliably believed to be one man who could sign for Spurs before January 31 as the club remain in talks for Bruno Lages's winger.

Sky Sports, sharing some 'behind the scenes' news out of Spurs, have issued a promising claim on their transfer activity at N17.

The Latest: Sky share 'behind the scenes' latest...

As per the broadcast giant and their reporter Dharmesh Sheth, via Football Daily, Tottenham are 'working very hard behind the scenes to strengthen the priority positions' - particularly right-wing-back and up front.

Sharing more news, Sheth and Sky back that Traore is very much on Spurs' radar as Wolves may have no choice but to let him go given his contract situation.

The Verdict: Promising claim...

If Conte is to make a success of his reign at the club, both Paratici and Levy will need to back the Italian as he sets out his priorities behind-closed doors.

News from a reliable source that Tottenham are 'working very hard' to do just that can only come as a promising claim, especially considering the Lilywhites' push for a top four finish.

Conte could still make a success of this season with Champions League qualification but whether or not they strengthen may well come as a major factor.

As highlighted by a recent injury blow for Son Heung-min, Tottenham are arguably one or two knocks away from a real lack of options with strength in depth certainly required of the Premier League's elite sides.
