According to a report by Telegraph journalist Mike McGrath, Tottenham Hotspur have reignited their interest in Bournemouth striker Josh King as chairman Daniel Levy prepares to swoop for a sixth summer signing - with Spurs largely tipped to add either a striker or centre-back.

After securing sensational deals over the last fortnight for both Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid, various reports have indicated that Spurs won't be done there as the club eye swoops for two more additions.

Most recently, Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for Inter Milan star defender Milan Skriniar as negotiations continue over the next few days, but a forward is also arguably necessary to ease the pressure off sole front man Harry Kane.

Indeed, after failing to replace ex-attacker Fernando Llorente, who departed north London after his contract expired last summer, the hunt for a new forward is on and debatably long overdue.

Spurs have been linked to a wide variety of attacking options, with FC Metz striker Habib Diallo, Napoli star Arkadiusz Milik plus Benfica duo Carlos Vinicius and Haris Seferovic all being considered as options according to reliable football.london correspondent Alasdair Gold.

Now, as per this Telegraph report, Cherries hitman King is another name on Levy's radar - and pundit Kevin Phillips has already labelled his potential signing as 'very exciting' from a Tottenham point of view.

However, given the 48-cap international could cost over £20 million, with Man United's January bid of that amount being rejected, Spurs may have to pay a pretty penny for his services.
