Tottenham Hotspur: Stan Collymore praises Danny Rose after meeting with Jose Mourinho in ‘All or Nothing’ - Tottenham Hotspur Transfer Rumours

Following the release of ‘All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur’ episode five, via GiveMeSport, pundit Stan Collymore has praised Danny Rose for showing his frustration with manager Jose Mourinho after being left out of the match day squad for Spurs’ goalless draw with Watford on January 18 – going on to give the England international ‘huge credit‘.

The documentary, which started airing on Amazon Prime recently, showcases Spurs’ 2019/2020 season in a behind-the-curtains fashion – detailing the happenings behind the scenes in what was a topsy-turvy year to be a Lilywhites supporter.

From Mauricio Pochettino’s sacking to finishing seven points outside of a top four place, some critics may say it was a campaign to forget for the club, and for Danny Rose in particular there was plenty to lament.

Rose became a bit-part figure under Mourinho, eventually going out on loan to Newcastle United at the end of the January transfer window, and one meeting with the Spurs gaffer could have been the tipping point.

After being omitted from the squad for a 0-0 stalemate with the Hornets, Rose made no secret of his lack of satisfaction, confronting Mourinho following his decision and informing the Portuguese he will be looking for chairman Daniel Levy.

Collymore, upon sharing the emerged footage, waxed lyrical over the defender’s boldness and no-nonsense reaction to being left out – claiming it is only what ‘ 0.00000000000001%’ of professionals do in the modern game.

The pundit, however, was not impressed with Mourinho’s reaction – going on to state that he couldn’t even look directly at the 30-year-old.

Valued at £14.4 million by Transfermarkt, Rose could be looking for a way out of north London this summer after reports linking him with an exit.
