Tottenham: Marcel Sabitzer on transfer radar

According to The Athletic, Daniel Levy and Tottenham are keen to complete a deal for RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer, and he could be available for a bargain fee of £30m in the summer.
Bargain Sabitzer deal eyed
The reports says that Spurs, particularly Jose Mourinho, want to sign Sabitzer, but it is unlikely that they will be able to sign him during the January transfer window.
In the summer, though, it could be a completely different story. The Austria international will have just one year left on his contract at Leipzig by that point, and could therefore be available for a bargain £30m.
Could be a top signing
Leipzig’s reluctance to sell at this point in the season is understandable – Sabitzer is their captain, while the German outfit are second in the Bundesliga and face a Champions League round of 16 clash against Premier League champions Liverpool.
Would you like to sign Marcel Sabitzer?
Yes

No

In the summer, though, it makes far more sense for them to part ways, and at £30m, he truly would be a snip. He has 95 goals throughout his career from midfield, and is only 26 years of age, meaning he has potentially not even hit his peak yet. He is also a versatile option, having played across the front three and in defensive midfield in the past.
He could very well be the perfect option for Mourinho and Levy in a few months.
In other news, Tottenham have joined the race to sign this former star.
