Fabio Paratici is reportedly now targeting three players to sign for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

The Lowdown: Disappointing January?

While Spurs did manage to bring in both Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski on loan from Juventus in the January transfer window, they also missed out on the likes of Adama Traore and Luis Diaz.

The right wing-back position, of which Antonio Conte was keen to strengthen last month, was not filled in, and there is still a lack of cover for Harry Kane up top.

Nonetheless, Paratici will now be looking to put that right in the summer, especially if the North London club fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

The Latest: Three targets

As per The Daily Mail, Paratici is now targeting summer swoops for Djed Spence, Brennan Johnson and Mamadou Coulibaly.

All three players fall into the category of being young players with dwindling contracts, and so the Lilywhites chief sees the summer as a great opportunity to recruit some big talent potentially on the cheap.

Paratici was also at the FA Cup game at the weekend which saw both Spence and Johnson help Nottingham Forest thrash Leicester City 4-1, keeping an eye on those two ahead of potential moves.

The Verdict: All in!

Spence has excelled at right wing-back in Steve Cooper's system at Forest, and would no doubt fill the problem position well for Conte.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright described his performance in their 1-0 win over his former team last month as 'swashbuckling', while he and Johnson were both praised for their more recent display against the Foxes, and were even named in the FA Cup's Team of the Fourth Round.

Highly-rated Coulibaly would also give Conte another solid midfield option alongside Johnson, and with Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso facing uncertain futures after being loaned out, getting both in alongside Spence would represent great business.
