# Everton: Fans react to Cenk Tosun transfer news

**Many Everton fans have been left reacting to some transfer news that has emerged on Cenk Tosun.**

As per [Sabah](https://www.sabah.com.tr/galeri/spor/son-dakika-besiktas-yeni-hocasini-buldu-3-sezondur-takimini-sampiyon-yapiyor-cenk-tosunda-sicak-gelisme/8), the striker has now reached an agreement with Besiktas to return to them for the third time in the [January transfer window](https://www.givemesport.com/1754870-january-transfer-window-2022-when-does-it-open-when-does-it-close-and-which-players-are-going-to-move), and there are talks between both clubs.

The Turkish side would like a six-month loan deal, and it is now up to the Goodison Park faithful over whether they accept it.

Of course, a permanent deal would be more ideal, given that it has not really worked out for Tosun on Merseyside, with just 11 goals in 59 games in total over all competitions ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cenk-tosun/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/45671/plus/0?saison=&verein=29&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)).

However, getting even some of his [£60,000-per-week](https://www.spotrac.com/epl/everton-fc/cenk-tosun-24729/#:~:text=Cenk%20Tosun%20signed%20a%205%20year%20%2F%20%C2%A315%2C600%2C000,%C2%A33%2C120%2C000%2C%20while%20carrying%20a%20cap%20hit%20of%20%C2%A33%2C120%2C000.) wages off of their books would benefit Rafa Benitez’s team, and so it is no surprise to see so many Toffees supporters just wanting him gone.
