# Everton: Fans fume over Cenk Tosun transfer news

**Lots of Everton fans have been left fuming over some transfer news that has emerged involving Cenk Tosun.**

As per Turkish journalist [Gokmen Ozcan](https://twitter.com/gokmenozcan/status/1486791111180001284), Hull City made an offer to the striker, but he rejected it so that he can fulfil his contract at Goodison Park.

Tosun is out of contract in the [summer](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cenk-tosun/profil/spieler/45671), but has not done enough to warrant a new one, as he has only scored 11 goals in 60 games in total across all competitions for the Toffees ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/cenk-tosun/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/45671/plus/0?saison=&verein=29&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)).

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison still on Merseyside, and the fact that he earns a healthy [£60,000-per-week](https://www.spotrac.com/epl/everton-fc/cenk-tosun-24729/#:~:text=Cenk%20Tosun%20signed%20a%205%20year%20%2F%20%C2%A315%2C600%2C000,%C2%A33%2C120%2C000%2C%20while%20carrying%20a%20cap%20hit%20of%20%C2%A33%2C120%2C000.), the January transfer window presents a good chance for the Blues to cash in on him, but he seems more than happy to collect his salary and warm the bench.
