Aitor Karanka is plotting a fresh overhaul at Nottingham Forest this summer – report

Nottingham Forest fans in the Transfer Tavern could be in for a busy summer, with reports claiming that there could be a number of movements at the City Ground during the transfer window.

According to a report in the Nottingham Post, Aitor Karanka is preparing himself for another couple of months where he will be active in the transfer window. The former Middlesbrough boss brought in ten additions last winter, including the likes of Jack Colback and Ben Watson, however, it appears he was not done there.

The media outlet are claiming that he would like to bring in as many as ten once again this summer as he looks to improve the squad and change it from the team he inherited from Mark Warburton.

The side are set to finish in a disappointing position in the Championship, however, Karanka will be hoping he can make a number of signings that will give them a chance of returning back to the Premier League for the first time since the 1999-2000 season.

Landlord’s Verdict

The Forest fans in the Tavern will be hoping the players that Karanka ultimately decides to bring in will make a positive impact, although some of the locals will be concerned about the size of the squad and the negative impact that it could have on the club.
