Leeds United could see one of their young talents leave the club after turning out for one of their Yorkshire rival’s developmental side.
According to Barnsley Academy’s official Twitter profile, Alex Wollerton lined up for them against Colchester United on Monday night.

The 19-year-old is thought to be exploring his options at Leeds and could look to move on when his contract at the club expires in the summer.
HITC Sport have also reported that he had undergone a trial with Hull City’s Under-23s in January.
It appears that a departure is very likely for Wollerton and a move to Barnsley could be ideal for the teenager.
The youngster does not appear to be in the frame to break into Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team like others such as Jack Clarke, Ryan Edmondson and Jamie Shackleton have done so in the past.
An impressive player, the 19-year-old could head to the League One side and be given more opportunity to play regular minutes in the future at Oakwell if he shines in the developmental side.
