Leeds United will be desperate to identify a winning formula after a disappointing draw at home against Nottingham Forest, with the teams around them picking up points.
The Whites have been a force to be reckoned with under Marcelo Bielsa this season, but they’re yet to really reach top gear as they continue their pursuit of automatic promotion. Although, the Yorkshire club waved goodbye to one of their youth players recently, as according to North Ferriby United’s official Twitter account, Leeds United forward Alex Wollerton has joined on a youth loan.
Leeds United midfielder Alex Wollerton has agreed the terms of a loan move to North Ferriby United.
Indeed, the youngster needs to be playing regular football at his current age, so a move to the Northern Premier League Premier Division club seems appropriate.
Wollerton has yet to play for the senior Leeds side and isn’t in the frame to follow the likes Jack Clarke, Ryan Edmondson and Jamie Shackleton into the first-team squad.
So, a move to non-league football seems like the right decision as he isn’t quite ready to make the step up to enjoy regular minutes in the Football League, but he is still a very impressive young player nevertheless.
