Alexander Milosevic has been linked with a move to Sheffield Wednesday in recent weeks following the arrival of Steve Bruce as manager.
The Owls are thought to be in the market for a new defender and the Sweden international is believed to be of interest.
The 26-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving AIK in his homeland at the end of 2018 and according to a report by Fotboll Transfers, he would like to move abroad once again.
Milosevic has admitted he heard about the interest from Sheffield Wednesday, however, he refused to confirm whether there actually is any.
“I have heard a little about it, but then how much it is I have difficulty answering now. It is my dad who takes care of that and manages all contacts. Now that I come home I will talk to him properly and see what happens. The sooner, the better,” he said.
“I never confirmed, but there was an interest perhaps. We’ll see how far it goes.”
The experienced international defender would no doubt be an excellent addition for The Owls if they are to make a possible swoop for him in January.
Milosevic’s comments will have done nothing to dampen the rumours about a move to Sheffield Wednesday.
Although he would not confirm the news, he did not exactly deny the rumours either, and with plenty of time in January still to go, developments regarding the 26-year-old will be closely watched.
