If their latest player acquisition is anything to go by, Leeds United appear to be building for the future.
According to the Ultimate Football Coaching Academy, Ben Sturgeon is the latest youngster to join the Whites youth system.
The Yorkshire based academy outfit have confirmed the news on Twitter and have taken to the social media site to wish him well for the future.
Congratulations to Ben Sturgeon, who has joined #LUFC Academy following a successful trial period.
Ben joined #UFCA in 2013 with no previous professional club academy experience.

The youngster, who can play on the left-hand side as either a left-back or a winger, had been with UFCA since 2013 and has not previously had any professional academy experience, meaning Leeds will give him his chance to shine.
The Whites are not shy of giving youth a chance when it comes to the first-team, as Marcelo Bielsa has given the likes of Jack Clarke, Aapo Halme, Ryan Edmondson and William Huffer their opportunities to impress.
Sturgeon is unlikely to challenge for a place in the first-team in the immediate future, however, joining a club like Leeds will offer him plenty of confidence that he can have a future in the game.
Although not much is known about the player, he must have some potential if the Whites are keen to take a chance on him in their academy ranks.
As mentioned, a number of names have stepped up through the ranks at Thorp Arch over the years and Sturgeon could be one of the next to follow in those footsteps.
