He has been a constant source of conversation here at the Football Transfer Tavern and after the latest report in Gazzetta Dello Sport it seems that Real Madrid player Kaka is about to become the centre of attention once more.
Kaka has been looking for a way out of the Spanish capital since the summer and despite the club placing a 25 million euro price tag on his head, he is set on leaving. Of course the most likely destination is AC Milan – the club he had so much success at and today Gazetta claim the club want to land the player.
Silvio Berlusconi has been at it again and the latest quote from the AC chief is a cracker. He claimed: “In football we are out of reality, it seems to play monopoly. But I’m optimistic because it may be that the Real, either directly, it would be a solution to his problem and Kaká to Milan could lead to his full recovery. With him you can point to the Champions League? We aim to always be there, and hopefully we can do it.”
He also claimed that he did not know what would happen regarding the potential capture of Mario Balotelli – even after calling him a ‘rotten apple’ and later retracting the comments.
