Bielsa in the hunt for talented left-back but faces huge competition this summer

Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited to see who the club can bring in this summer and will be hoping Marcelo Bielsa can use his name as a way of bringing stars to Elland Road.

The Argentine was a coup for the Whites this summer as he was appointed as the new manager to try and take them into the Premier League and he has already set his plans out in order to achieve those aims.

Bielsa has revealed that he needs to bring in a few additions to help improve his squad, and according to the Daily Mirror, one name that has been touted with a possible move is Bristol City’s Joe Bryan.

It is believed that the left-back is thought to be prepared to leave Ashton Gate this summer and Leeds are rumoured to be among a number of clubs interested in the 24-year-old ace.

Landlord’s Verdict

Bryan would be a smart signing for Bielsa and Leeds as the left-back has been a position that has caused worry for the locals in the Tavern.

The defender is considered as one of the best in the Championship and would immediately strengthen the Whites, as well as providing them with another option as he can operate as a wingback.
