Bristol City are frantically trying to tie up some last minute transfer dealings as they look to fight off relegation back to League One, after just one season in the Sky Bet Championship.
One Robins fan is casually enjoying a pint of the landlord’s real ale and catching up with the tabloids when he spots an article in the Football League Paper, that suggests the club have seen a bid for Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw accepted.
The 23-year-old has netted 28 goals in 53 appearances for the Saddlers and it always looked doubtful that the club could keep hold of one of their prized assets.
John Pemberton’s team are currently in the bottom three of the Championship and are desperately trying to pull clear of the relegation zone.
One Robins fan is sat in the smoking area and thinks Bradshaw is exactly the sort of striker that the club should be targeting and he is hopeful the deal can be pulled off.
