Although, Steve McClaren had to wave goodbye to one of the club’s youngsters recently, as according to West London Sport, Caden Genovesi has joined Welling on loan.
QPR youngster Caden Genovesi has joined non-League side Welling United on loan.
It will be the 19-year-old left-back’s second loan move, having spent half of last season on loan at Whitehawk.
He joins a Welling side that is challenging for promotion from the National League South, so this loan move will provide a stern test for the promising defender.
The defender has plenty of potential and could break into the first team at some point in the future, but at this moment in time he needs to get regular minutes under his belt.
Steve McClaren will be keen to see how he gets on after his loan spell last season, with a successful time of things possibly launching him up the ranks at Loftus Road.
