Championship duo eye move for Bolton defender

DerviteBolton Wanderers fans playing darts in The Transfer Tavern are discussing reports that a pair of Championship clubs are considering making an offer for one of their defenders.

HITC is reporting via Teamtalk that both Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers are looking to move for Dorian Dervite.

Bolton are in turmoil both on and off the pitch, with the club currently rooted firmly to the bottom of the Championship table and being over £170 million in debt it could lead to mass exodus of players in January as the club look to balance the books.

With the threat of administration looming many clubs will be swarming around the Macron Stadium in the hope of getting players on a cut price deal.

Dervite started his career at Lille, and since leaving has taken in spells at Southend United, Villarreal and Charlton Athletic.

The Bolton fans in The Transfer Tavern are disappointed at the thought of losing Dervite but with both administration and a winding up petition hanging over the club have conceded that he may be one of a number of players leaving the club in January.
