Charlton Athletic have been hit with a number of injuries this season and Lee Bowyer could look to add reinforcements in January.
Despite performing well in League One in the first part of the campaign, The Addicks have seen their squad heavily depleted at times.
The Valley outfit will be looking to continue their push for Championship football in 2019 and could be set to bring a player back to England.
The defender joined the Eredivisie outfit in the summer from Bury and the former Manchester City trainee has made nine appearances so far.
The 24-year-old has plenty of experience of playing in the English Football League, having spent time at Crewe Alexandra and Bradford City, as well as The Shakers.
The left-back position has become a problem for Charlton this season as Lewis Page has continued to struggle with injury concerns.
Leigh’s experience could prove invaluable for the Addicks in their efforts to try and win promotion back to the Championship.
However, with the 24-year-old having only arrived in Holland six months ago, it remains to be seen if the south London side can bring him back to England.
