Leeds United currently find themselves in third position with a game in hand over the likes of Sheffield United and Norwich City.
The Whites have been rather impressive up until this point in the current campaign, with a win against Bolton Wanderers next time out possibly helping Leeds move back to the top of the table.
Indeed, supporters received positive news recently, as according to Leeds United’s official website, Clarke Oduor has signed a new deal at Elland Road.
Interestingly, the attacker has signed a one-and-a-half-year deal, running until the summer of 2020, with the club holding the option to extend this by a further year.
Oduor made his first-team debut in the FA Cup third round against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road and he’s been making great strides in the Under-23 ranks this season, so a new deal was just reward.
Of course, it may be impossible for him to work his way into Leeds’ plans from here on in as they find themselves chasing automatic promotion, but he’ll definitely be one for the future.
Clarke Oduor is a very promising youngster who will no doubt be presented with a number of opportunities in the first-team ranks over the next year-and-a-half.
Leeds United managed to secure an agreement with Robbie Gotts recently as well, so it appears as if Leeds are very much looking towards the future.
