Leeds continued their incredible start to the season as they beat Rotherham 2-0 thanks to goals from Luke Ayling and Kemar Roofe.

Under Bielsa, Leeds have made an unbeaten start to the season and at the moment look like the strongest team in the league.

What makes Leeds’ strong start to the season look even more impressive is that the Yorkshire club only brought in five new players, with only Barry Douglas being the sole change in the starting XI.

So far, the other new signings have only played a bit part role at the club but as the season progresses, they will be crucial in keeping Leeds’ title hopes alive.

Bielsa plays an intense and high energy style of play, therefore, depth is going to key.

With the loan window for English Football League clubs still open, Yahoo Sports journalist Manu Lonjon is reporting that Leeds are interested in making a loan move for Lille midfielder, Fares Bahlouli.

The Breakdown

The 23-year-old attacker signed for Lille in January 2017 but has only made 14 appearances for the club in Ligue 1, 11 coming from the bench.

Bahlouli worked under Marcelo Bielsa during his time at Lille and although the Argentinian’s tenure with the French club didn’t work out, it looks like a reunion could be on the cards.

With a very tough and long season ahead, a loan deal for the attacker could be a smart piece of business.

If Bielsa is interested in the Lille man, it shows that he clearly rates him and thinks he could contribute to the team.
