Hadi Sacko set to leave Leeds for loan switch to Las Palmas

Leeds United could be about to see another player leave Elland Road this summer as their Championship campaign fast approaches.

The Whites will take on Stoke City at home on Sunday in the season opener and Marcelo Bielsa would have been hoping that he would have had his squad already in place.

However, the Argentine has struggled to get a number of signings brought into the club which is now appearing to look a little thin in areas as players are departing at a fast rate.

And, it looks as though another man who was not part of Bielsa’s plans is about to leave the Yorkshire outfit, with reports in Spain suggesting that an agreement is in place.

According to Fichajes, via Canarias7, Hadi Sacko has agreed to join Las Palmas on a season-long loan deal after weeks of talks between the two sides for the 24-year-old.

It is also believed that the 24-year-old had plenty of offers on the table, with clubs in both England and Portugal also prepared to give him the chance to get his career back on track.

The Verdict:

It is no real surprise that the Mali international winger is on his way out of Elland Road after he was left out of the official squad number list last week.

Sacko has found life difficult with Leeds since his switch from Sporting Lisbon, initially on a loan deal in 2016 and has struggled to adapt to the style of play in the Championship.

He managed just 14 league appearances last season and it is thought that would not improve under Bielsa, so a move to Spain could be best for the player to get his career back on track.
