Nottingham Forest failed to impress in front of home support at the City Ground yesterday as they were beaten 1-0 by Queens Park Rangers.
Forest have really knuckled down and set their sights on a play-off push in recent times, but yesterday’s loss will definitely be a big blow in the race. And, it appears as if the club could wave goodbye to one of their first-team players in January, as according to Football Insider, Ipswich Town have opened talks to sign Liam Bridcutt.

However, it appears as if this will only be a loan deal as the Tractor Boys are lining up a move for the second half of the campaign.
The 29-year-old is well down the pecking order in Aitor Karanka’s plans and the manager is willing to let the midfielder move on.
Liam Bridcutt has struggled to work his way into Aitor Karanka’s plans in the current campaign, so a loan move seems like the right option at this point.
Forest won’t be too fussed as they’ll have their sights set on promotion and strengthening in the January transfer window.
