Birmingham City will be desperate to enjoy a run of positive results to aid their push for a play-off spot, with the January transfer window possibly helping Garry Monk’s cause.
The Blues have defied expectations in the current campaign as Monk continues to work wonders at St Andrew’s. But, the Midlands club had to wave goodbye to one of its impressive youth players recently, as according to Tamworth Football Club’s official website, Jack Concannon has joined Tamworth on loan.
Jack Concannon has joined Tamworth on a work experience deal for an initial one month period, with the option to extend further.
Indeed, the attacking midfielder notched four goals in 19 games for Blues Under-18s during his first year as a scholar in 2016/17, and he has impressed since as he did well on loan at Sutton Coldfield Town earlier in the season.
The 18-year-old has a bright future ahead of him, so the club will be keen to see how he fares at Tamworth.
Having witnessed Wes Harding’s rise to stardom at Birmingham City in recent times at St Andrew’s, perhaps Concannon can follow in his footsteps if he continues to develop.
The attacking midfielder has an eye for goal, he’s good technically and is also good at dead-ball situations, so he has plenty going for him.
