Nottingham Forest could be about to make another signing this summer as Aitor Karanka looks to continue his rebuild of the squad.
According to Paul Taylor, Karim Ansarifard looks likely to become the latest addition to arrive at the City Ground.
Lots of rumours kicking around about work permit delays with regard to Karim Ansarifard… but told there is no issue there. Suspect the only thing delaying his arrival at #nffc is the fact that he is away with Iran in Uzbekistan.

The Nottingham Post journalist has claimed that there are no issues surrounding a work permit and eluded to the fact that as he is currently on international duty with Iran, that could be the only reason why a deal has been delayed.
Karanka has been busy adding to his side this summer and saw a couple of players arrive just last week, however, the Tricky Trees have failed to find the net on a regular basis.
However, with Ansarifard potentially arriving, they will be hoping the Iran international, with whom he featured for in the World Cup, will be able to hit the ground running and help take them up the Championship table.
Karanka has already made a number of signings this summer, but it looks as though he still wants to add to certain areas of the pitch.
The Spaniard will be hoping that Ansarifard can hit the heights he did with Olympiacos last season, where he found the goal prolifically and can help to guide Forest to a place in next year’s Premier League.
However, he will be aware that players will need to take time to adjust to the Championship, as he has seen first hand that a number of his latest recruits have so far failed to gel and give their side the desired impact.
