Life for Keiren Westwood at Sheffield Wednesday this season has been anything but dull.
The goalkeeper was originally frozen out of the side under Jos Luhukay, however, Steve Bruce’s arrival has seen the player restored to the first-team.
And, according to Dom Howson, it appears he has not fallen out of love with the Yorkshire outfit.

The Sheffield Star journalist revealed on Twitter that the 34-year-old would ‘love’ to extend his stay at the club, with his present deal set to expire in the summer.
An experienced shot-stopper, Westwood has shown his qualities since coming back into the fold at Hillsborough, as he has been key in the club’s new-found form.
The former Republic of Ireland international has kept four clean sheets so far in his seven Championship appearances as The Owls work hard to bring the club some long-awaited success.
It was a strange decision by Luhukay to freeze Westwood out of the team originally and looking back on it will make it even more baffling.
Only the Dutchman will know the reasons as to why he did, however, the 34-year-old has been crucial to helping Sheffield Wednesday improve following the arrival of Bruce this winter.
If The Owls are to continue to produce excellent results on the pitch, then Westwood will be vital to that and fans will have been delighted to hear that he would ‘love’ to extend his stay with the club.
