Leeds chasing 22-year-old winger as Bielsa looks to get new era underway

Leeds United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be expecting the side to make a number of additions this summer as they look to try and get Premier League football once again.

The Whites have appointed Marcelo Bielsa as their new Head Coach and the locals will be hoping his name and experience can help to bring in a number of players during the transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, the Elland Road outfit are one of a number of clubs that are interested in signing Newcastle United’s Yasin Ben El-Mhanni. The 22-year-old winger is to leave the club this summer following a ruling that discriminatory remarks were made against him.

The youngster is widely regarded as a tricky quickster that could offer a side like Leeds a lot on the wing, as the Whites are keen to bring some attacking prowess to the side.

Landlord’s Verdict

The fact that El-Mhanni is wanted by a number of clubs from the Premier League and in Portugal shows that he is a talented individual, however, the locals in the Tavern will be hoping that Leeds can convince him to join them.

The Championship side may be able to give him a better chance of offering him first-team football on a regular basis and will give him the perfect platform to show the football world what he is really about.
