Leeds United have started to get their transfer business flowing in the past week and Marcelo Bielsa is starting to shape his squad into the side he wants.
Having been frustrated over the early course of the transfer window, things look to be on the up for the Whites as they finally start to get going.
The Elland Road outfit had already managed to sign Lewis Baker and Jamal Blackman on season-long loans from Chelsea before they had confirmed the permanent switch of Barry Douglas from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, it appears the club have stepped it up again this week as they initially released an announcement about Jack Harrison joining on loan from Manchester City and have now released even more positive news.
According to a statement released on the club’s official website, Patrick Bamford has completed a transfer from Middlesbrough and becomes the Whites fifth signing of the summer, signing a four-year deal.
Bamford has been a thorn in Leeds’ side in the past and they will be delighted they have brought him to Elland Road to lead their line.
The former Chelsea forward had netted a hat-trick against them when playing for Middlesbrough last season and has proven to be a handful for a number of Championship defences.
Bielsa will be delighted to have finally landed a striker, as it was one of his main priorities and will be hoping he can provide them with the goals to get them back into the Premier League.
