Leeds United have seen another one of their fringe players depart the club this summer as Marcelo Bielsa continues to rattle his squad down.
The full-back had only joined the Whites last January, however, he struggled to adapt to life in the Championship for the Elland Road outfit and made just seven appearances.
He had yet to feature for Bielsa, although it was believed he would rarely have a chance to do so under the Argentine as he was not deemed to be part of the manager’s plans.
The club have not announced whether the temporary move has an option for the player to complete a permanent move to the Jupiler Pro League side, although he is thought to still have four years left on his current deal.
A move seemed likely for the 25-year-old after he had not been named in any of Bielsa’s matchday squads to this point in the Championship.
The closest he came to making an appearance this season for the Whites was in the League Cup, however, he did not manage to come off of the bench.
De Bock failed to live up to the expectations that the Elland Road outfit had for him and a move back to Belgium will be the best thing for all concerned.
