Leeds United fans here in the Tavern will be desperate to see their side earn promotion next season, as anything less will be seen as a disaster.
The Whites looked less than convincing this season as they struggled to ensure consistency, with many of our local residents hoping for a better campaign next time round. Interestingly, it looks as if Leeds are looking at potential additions, as according to a report from The Sun on Sunday’s goal section (27/05/2018, page 8,) (via HITC), Leeds United are eyeing a summer move for Milton Keynes Dons midfielder Ousseynou Cisse.
Indeed, the 27-year-old likes to battle in the middle of the park as a ball-winner, which is something that Leeds could definitely do with after showing very little fight at times.
However, it’s understood that they will face competition for his signature from Clubbe Bruge, Augsburg and Blackburn Rovers.
Much to the delight of many of our local residents, it’s believed that the central midfielder will be available for a minimal fee this summer, so Leeds should have no trouble in luring him to Elland Road.
The central midfielder was very impressive for Milton Keynes Dons this season, as Leeds United may be able to bring him to Elland Road in what would be a sensational move for a cheap price. And, the Mali midfielder would also be the perfect partner for Adam Forshaw, as he would create space for Forshaw to work in by making positive runs forward to help contribute in the final third, which would bring the Englishman’s game on massively.
