Marcelo Bielsa is believed to want to use the January transfer window as an opportunity to add a winger to his Leeds United squad.
The Whites currently have the likes of Jack Clarke, Jack Harrison and Ezgjan Alioski as options, however, the Argentine manager is still keen to make fresh changes.
Hoffenheim’s Steven Zuber has been linked with a move to Elland Road this winter and Phil Hay appears to have confirmed the Championship outfit’s interest.
Answering a question on Twitter, the Yorkshire Evening Post journalist revealed that it was ‘genuine’ and the club have been keeping an eye on him for a long time.
the Steven Zuber link is genuine and Leeds have watched him for a while so that could be done. Hoffenheim aren’t making much use of him. But he won’t be the only midfielder they’re looking at.

Zuber, who is an experienced Switzerland international, has struggled to get game-time for the Bundesliga outfit and could be on the move in January.
Zuber would be a great addition to the Leeds squad this winter and Hay’s confirmation of their interest is a huge transfer update.
The experienced winger would offer the club plenty and could inject some freshness into the side as they look to win promotion to the Premier League.
The 27-year-old is also thought to be open to a move away from Hoffenheim, which could go in Leeds’ favour, although he could have a number of potential suitors.
