Leeds United look to be working hard to resolve their transfer window woes this summer and could finally be able to land an attacking duo.
The Whites have had a number of setbacks already in regards to possible deals and Marcelo Bielsa will have been concerned with the club’s failures to make them happen.
However, it appears the Argentine has listed other potential targets for the club to chase this summer and the Elland Road outfit are thought to be in the process of making the right movements already.
According to Tom Carnduff, who is a journalist for Sporting Life, the Yorkshire giants are believed to have already held talks with Peterborough United about taking Marcus Maddison and Jack Marriott from London Road this summer.
The future of football transfers – cryptic Instagram messages. Although Marriott and Maddison will both leave this window anyway. #LUFC have been keen on both in the past though, and have had recent talks with Peterborough too. Interesting to see if anything else develops. pic.twitter.com/0Qm6A0Dmff

The journalist has stated that both players will definitely leave the Posh this summer with Leeds being linked in the past for the pair.
Should Leeds be able to pull off the double coup for the duo, it would instantly make them a much stronger outfit.
Marriott was a standout performer for the Posh last season in League One, having netted 33 times and would be an instant upgrade on the strikers currently at Elland Road, whilst Maddison was a creative force, creating 23 assists, whilst also bagging himself 12 goals in all competitions.
However, both players would come at an expensive price and it would remain to be seen if Leeds can bring the pair, or if they opt for just one of the duo. Regardless, if they did manage to get at least one of them, it would instantly improve Bielsa’s side.
