Leeds United will be continuing to search the transfer market for a couple of additions this summer as the deadline fast approaches.
Marcelo Bielsa will have been pleased with what he saw by his side on Sunday during their 3-1 victory against Stoke City.
However, the Argentine could still be considering a move for another striker, despite the arrival of Patrick Bamford, with the possibility of Caleb Ekuban departing Elland Road before Thursday.
L’Equipe are stating that Amiens striker Moussa Konate is ‘in the sights’ of Leeds after impressing in Ligue 1 last season with the French side. The Senegal international, who earned a World Cup place this summer, bagged 13 goals in 33 appearances for the club in his debut season.
Konate would be an excellent signing for Leeds this summer, although they will need to move quickly if they want to land him.
The Senegal international would offer a different dimension to their attacking ranks, especially given that he is a pacy player that has proven he can find the back of the net on a regular basis.
With Thursday’s deadline fast approaching, and the competition that they may face signing the 25-year-old, a deal could become difficult if they leave it too late.
