Leeds keeping tabs on Eamonn Brophy

Leeds United are thought to be keeping tabs on a 22-year-old that has been impressing with his performances in the Scottish Premiership.

Eamonn Brophy has been excelling for Kilmarnock this season and has scored eight goals in his 17 league games this season.

And, according to a report by The Daily Mail’s Live Transfer Blog (10 January, 12.25pm), the Whites are thought to have taken notice.

Brophy, who has represented Scotland at the Under-21 level, is versatile and can play on either the wing or as a striker.

Modelling himself on Robbie Keane, who was a favourite at Elland Road before the club were forced to sell him on, the 22-year-old has a good amount of pace as well.

The Verdict:

Brophy could potentially be a great addition for Leeds as they look to win promotion to the Premier League.

The 22-year-old has been a standout for Kilmarnock this season and the fact that he can play on the wing could appeal to Marcelo Bielsa and the Whites.

The Scottish side will want to keep hold of their star though, which could make it difficult for Leeds to try and bring him to Elland Road this winter.
