Leeds United are going to need to make a number of signings in the summer to strengthen their squad, especially if they do manage to make it to the Premier League next season.
Marcelo Bielsa has been remarkable at Elland Road throughout the campaign, however, new faces will need to be a priority in the upcoming transfer window if they are to improve further.
And, it appears he has two men on his radar who have been rather impressive whilst out on loan this season.
What’s the News?
According to Football Insider, Leeds are keeping tabs on Liverpool duo Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent ahead of potential summer moves for the pair.
Wilson has been excelling for Derby County this season whilst Kent has been extremely impressive under Steven Gerrard at Rangers.
Both of their future’s at Liverpool are said to be in doubt and it appears Bielsa is keen on bringing the pair to Elland Road.
Leeds will need to strengthen their squad in the summer regardless of whether they are playing in the Premier League or Championship next season and both men would seriously bring improvements to the attacking department.
Wilson has already proved that he is more than capable of playing in England’s second tier as he has played a starring role for Frank Lampard’s Derby this season, having hit 14 goals in his 41 matches so far.
The 22-year-old has emerged as a real talent and would thrive for Leeds in the number 10 role as Bielsa does not quite have the options he currently needs available to him at Elland Road.
As with Wilson, Kent would also have to be considered an excellent coup for the Whites as he would be able to add a further attacking threat with his ability to run down the left-hand side of the pitch and find the back of the net.
22-years-old as well, he is playing his best football to date at Rangers and six goals and nine assists in his 39 matches across all competitions.
However, Kent arriving could jeopardise Jack Clarke’s chances of playing on a regular basis as both men would be competing it out for the same position.
Leeds fans, would Wilson and Kent be solid signings for the club in the summer? Join in with the discussion below by sharing your thoughts with us.
