Although Leeds beat Forest Green 2-1 on Tuesday night, the club shouldn't begin to think that this takes away from their transfer business.

Not much has occurred at Elland Road although plenty has been rumoured. The transfer window closes on August 9th and so far Leeds have only brought in Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker, both on loan from Chelsea.

For a club looking to gain promotion under arguably the best coach they've had for close to two decades, the Lily Whites are going to need a lot more than two new players. Reports have linked the club with Brentford winger, Florian Jozefzoon and according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds have made a £3 million bid.

The Breakdown

According to the report, Leeds will face competition from Derby for the winger. The speedy winger has played 60 times in the Championship since joining from PSV Eindhoven in 2017.

The Dutch winger only has one year left and seems set to leave the club. Scoring seven goals while providing seven assists, the winger would be a shrewd piece of business by the club.

Aside from Kemar Roofe and Stuart Dallas, Jozefzoon would be a massive upgrade on Ezgjan Alioski and Hadi Sacko. Moreover, with the season fast approaching, Bielsa needs to add some players to his squad, especially up front.

With Matej Vydra holding out for a move to the Premier League, Leeds' hunt for the striker seems to have stalled. With that in mind, Leeds need to bring the winger in at all costs.
