Leeds maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a brilliant over Norwich City at the weekend.

In what is becoming a typical Leeds performance, Bielsa's men weathered an early storm to then completely demolish Norwich to win 3-0 to jump to the top of the table.

Under Marcelo Bielsa, the squad has completely transformed into a high energy, high tempo squad that eventually smothers its opposition. In particular, the likes of Samu Saiz and Kemar Roofe have improved under the Argentinian coach and as it stands, are two of the best players in the league so far, on current form.

With Bielsa's high tempo style of play, however, also comes the risk of burning out the players. Bielsa has used much of the same team from game to game and will look to do so going forward.

While the permanent transfer window has closed, the loan market is still open until this Friday and Leeds could well be in the market to make more additions.

Respected journalist, Phil Hay has provided an update on what the club will be looking to do in the last few days of the window.

The Breakdown

Although Pontus Jansson returned at the weekend, an injury to Liam Cooper means that Leeds only have two out and out centre-backs but Gaetano Berardi has deputised incredibly well in the middle.

The Argentinian boss, however, is happy with his defenders but is in the market for a creative midfielder to backup Samu Saiz. Leeds do lack a creative midfielder and a move to another to the squad would make sense.
