Leeds United are believed to be keen on adding a goalkeeper to their ranks this winter as they push to win promotion to the Premier League.
Bailey Peacock-Farrell is the Whites’ current number one, however, the Elland Road outfit do not currently have any other senior options, whilst there have also been concerns about the Northern Ireland international’s performances.
Marcelo Bielsa is thought to be keen on Newcastle United’s Karl Darlow, however, Phil Hay has revealed that a new name has been offered to the club this January.
The 35-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Spurs and looks set to leave the Premier League side in the near future with his present contract set to expire in the summer.
Mauricio Pochettino and Bielsa are thought to have a great relationship with the former having played under the current Leeds boss.
There is no doubt that the 35-year-old is hugely experienced and would be considered a great short-term addition, but he would certainly not be the answer to any of their long-term concerns.
However, it remains to be seen if the Championship outfit decide to bring Vorm to Elland Road, especially considering his age and the wages that he could potentially demand.
