Leeds United will be wanting to bring in a number of new additions this summer as they look to challenge for a Premier League spot next season.
The Whites started the summer off in a positive way with the coup of Marcelo Bielsa as the new manager, however, their transfer business has not gone to plan so far.
Despite having landed Lewis Baker on loan from Chelsea, the club has so far failed to close negotiations with a number of their targets and will have started to cause some frustration around the club.
Bielsa has also been keen to offload a number of his squad and it appears he has enjoyed more success with those plans.
The club’s official Twitter account has confirmed that Mallik Wilks has been allowed to join Doncaster Rovers on a season-long loan deal. The 19-year-old has been no stranger to temporary deals recently, with the move to the League One outfit his third loan in just over a year.
The teenager becomes the ninth player to leave Elland Road this summer and Leeds will be watching with interest to see how he develops.
Wilks is thought to have a bright future and a loan spell with Doncaster could be what is needed for the striker to develop.
The youngster is unlikely to get any game time at Elland Road and a move to League One, following a spell in League Two with Accrington Stanley should see him benefit greatly.
