Leeds United will be desperate to secure a positive result against Bolton Wanderers next time out, with a positive result possibly taking them back into the automatic promotion places.
The Whites won’t accept anything less than automatic promotion in the current campaign as they’ve been one of the dominant forces, having reached new heights under Marcelo Bielsa.
It appears as if the Yorkshire club are eyeing a possible summer swoop, as according to the Yorkshire Evening Post’s chief football writer Phil Hay (via Inside Futbol), Leeds United retain a serious interest in Daniel James.
Leeds were on course to secure the services of the Wales international last month, but the deal collapsed last minute.
But, it appears as if Leeds are still very keen on the winger, with the Whites tipped to assess the situation in the summer and could make a fresh bid to land James.
James put in a fantastic performance against Brentford in the FA Cup yesterday and he ran pretty much the whole length of the pitch to find the back of the net.
Daniel James is a special talent and he will no doubt go on to achieve big things, but it remains to be seen as to whether that will be at Elland Road at this moment in time as they look to be weighing up a move.
Indeed, with the Whites retaining an interest in securing his services in the summer, perhaps Marcelo Bielsa will finally land his man at the end of the season.
