Leeds still looking for four or five players this summer

Leeds United are looking to make waves during the transfer window despite all the problems they have had getting players in so far.

Marcelo Bielsa has been desperate to land a number of players since his arrival at Elland Road, however, the Whites have appeared to encounter a setback each time they feel they are close to getting one of their targets.

That would have likely frustrated the Argentine as he would have liked to have his recruits with the squad by now, but the club is thought to be working hard to keep trying to bring new additions in.

According to a report by the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Whites are currently working on at least one more arrival from the Premier League, whilst he still has a need to bring in four of five players.

Bielsa wants to add strength and depth to his squad this summer in a number of positions and it is believed a striker, a midfielder and a full-back remain at the top of his wishlist.

The Verdict:

Leeds have lacked quality in the past couple of seasons that have seen them falter as the year went on and the signings that Bielsa plans could help to rectify that.

A striker is considered a main priority as the Whites have failed to find the target on a number of occasions, whilst full-back has also been a concern over the last couple of years.
