Leeds take an interest in Ivan Cavaleiro

Leeds United could look to land a Premier League winger on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has made a handful of appearances for Wolverhampton Wanderers this season and Nuno Espirito Santo is believed to be weighing up the possibility of letting the 25-year-old leave on loan.
Cavaleiro has started just five top-flight games so far and has made a large number of his appearances as a second-half substitute.
The Portugal international made his mark in the Championship with The Molineux outfit last season and could benefit from making a return to the second tier of English football.
The winger, who can also play as a forward, hit nine goals and recorded 13 assists in Wolves’ winning campaign.
The Verdict:
Cavaleiro is just the latest name to be linked as Leeds look to bring a winger to Elland Road to boost their promotion aims.
However, the 25-year-old would be an excellent addition should Wolves look to let him depart on a temporary deal.
The Portugal international impressed with his performances in the Championship last season and knows what it takes to see a club finally get over the finish line.
