Leeds United are continuing to push on with their efforts to land a striker this summer as Marcelo Bielsa is keen to bring one to Elland Road.
The Whites have had a frustrating transfer window so far when it comes to landing targets, as they have struggled to complete a number of deals with concerns over the financial costs.
Matej Vydra and Abel Hernandez have both been linked with moves to Elland Road, although their wage demands have put Leeds off from confirming deals for the duo, whilst Jerry Mbakogu’s move from Capri appears to be dead.
However, Bielsa has now turned his attention to another striker that would be within their price range and could make an instant impact at the Whites. According to a report by The News, Cheltenham Town’s Mo Eisa is now on the Argentine’s radar.
The Portsmouth media outlet are claiming that the difficulty that Pompey and Sunderland are facing in trying to get the Robins to accept an offer for their star striker could leave the door open for Leeds to hijack a move.
Eisa is one of the Football League’s hottest talents at the moment and it is no surprise that there is a lot of interest in him.
He would certainly prove to be a smart addition for Leeds this summer as he should be able to help them with their goalscoring concerns.
However, there will be a question mark on whether the League Two striker could make the jump to the Championship, as it could be a step too far for the 24-year-old.
