Leeds United handed major boost in pursuit of Premier League man – Report

Leeds United fans here in the Tavern will be hoping that their side can improve over the course of the summer, as they’ve struggled to ensure consistency under Paul Heckingbottom.

The Whites didn’t enjoy the best of seasons as they failed to make the most of a promising position towards the start of the campaign. Indeed, appointing Paul Heckingbottom has proved to be a slight mistake, as they seem to have taken a step backwards under the Englishman. Although, Leeds did receive a boost on the transfer front recently, as according to journalist Phil Hay’s personal Twitter account, Leeds still want to sign Kyle Bartley and the defender is also keen on the move.

Kyle Bartley formed a formidable partnership with Pontus Jansson during his last stint at Elland Road, so many of our local residents will be desperate to see him back at the club. And, with the player believed to be interested in returning to Leeds United, perhaps it will be easy for the Whites to strike a deal with the central defender

Landlord’s Verdict:

Leeds United supporters will be delighted that Kyle Bartley is keen on a move back to Elland Road, as he established himself as a fan favourite during his time at the club. Although, many of our local residents aren’t getting too excited, as things could all fall through if Swansea City decide to keep him for their Championship campaign.
